ETBE Water Test
Recommended for targeted testing for ethyl-tert butyl ether (ETBE) in drinking water. ETBE is a common gasoline additive during the production of gasoline from crude oil. ETBE may enter the drinking water supply as a result of nearby oil and gas activity, gasoline spills, leakage from underground storage tanks, or improper gasoline disposal. This testing package is suggested for those particularly concerned with petroleum-related contamination, those noticing an oily sheen on water surfaces, or encountering a gasoline-like taste or smell in their water.
This Tap Score water test package provides all required materials to properly collect and submit a sample for certified laboratory testing. Reported results will include detailed, quantified analysis of of ETBE.
