The system uses a Primary Filter and a Secondary Filter. Filters should be replaced every 6 months or when prompted by the system. How many glasses can I have per day?
You only need one 450 ml / 15 oz glass of LifeWave X₂O water per day. Note that LifeWave X₂O should not replace your daily water intake but supplement it.

Can I cook with the water or use it for coffee?
We do not recommend boiling the water, as it might lose efficacy.

How many times a day can the machine be run?
There is no set limit to the number of times the machine can be run. Note that increased use means filters need to be replaced more frequently.

We have not conducted any trials on animals. LifeWave X₂O water consumption is recommended for humans only.

The water is dispensed at room temperature (68 to 77°F / 20 to 25°C).

What size is the water reservoir?
LifeWave X₂O holds up to 2 liters of water in its reservoir.

How long does it take to produce a glass of water?
The machine produces two 450 ml / 15 oz glasses of water approximately every 45 minutes.

How long after dispensing two glasses can I process additional glasses?
If two glasses are dispensed, the machine requires an additional 45 minutes to process the next batch. The touch-screen display will notify you when the next two glasses are ready.

How many filtration steps are there?
The machine uses a two-step filtration process before the light-infusion stage. The primary water filtration stage is designed to reduce a broad range of impurities found in municipal tap water.* The secondary filtration stage further improves purity while adding hydrogen to the water.

What is the filtration capacity of the primary and secondary filters?
Each 450 ml / 15 oz glass adds up quickly, but the high-capacity filters are designed to last up to 6 months under typical daily use. After 6 months, we recommend replacing both filters to maintain optimal performance. The Primary Filter processes up to 250 gallons, equivalent to around 10 glasses per day. The Secondary Filter handles 150 gallons, or approximately 6 glasses per day. The smart display will notify you when it's time to replace a filter.

What happens if a light-processing panel malfunctions?
When a light panel inside the machine malfunctions, a message appears on the screen with a code instructing you to contact customer service.

Does the machine have a shelf life?
LifeWave X₂O doesn't have a set expiry date or shelf life. However, it is recommended that the filters be replaced annually. The touch-screen display alerts you when it's time to replace the filters.

Can I move or transport my LifeWave X₂O after filling it with water?
We do not recommend moving the unit once water has been added, as this can temporarily affect performance and may cause damage.

What if I need to relocate my LifeWave X₂O?
If you must move it: keep the unit in your possession and do not ship it via courier or postal services; always keep it upright during transport to prevent water from shifting inside; and fully drain the unit before moving (refer to the "Draining the System" section of your manual). Returning to LifeWave is only allowed when prepared according to the "How to Prepare Your LifeWave X₂O Unit for Shipment" guide, available through customer services. Not following these instructions may affect performance and will void your warranty.

How do I clean my machine?

What products should be avoided when cleaning?
Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach and abrasive sponges like steel wool and scouring pads. Use cotton or paper towels for water absorption.

Is there a risk of sediment buildup with hard water?
Yes, sediment can build up in the machine. We recommend cleaning every 3 to 6 months, depending on your water quality.

Should the water in the reservoir be replaced after a specific period?
Yes, we recommend replacing the water every 2 to 3 days to ensure freshness. Some users may prefer changing it daily, which is also fine.

Is there a filter fouling / anti-bacterial solution if water is left in the reservoir?
We do not recommend leaving water sitting in the reservoir for any lengthy duration; it should be changed every 2 to 3 days.

How do I change the filters?

Where can I service my machine?
As of now, LifeWave will not be offering any servicing.

What should I do if my system stops working or displays an error?
Check the display panel for error messages and consult the user manual. If the issue persists, contact LifeWave Customer Service.

What if the light panel or touchscreen stops responding?
Try restarting the unit. If the problem continues, discontinue use and contact Customer Service.

Does removing the Primary Filter Media netting impact performance, safety, or water quality?
No. Removing the Primary Filter Media netting does not affect the filter's performance, safety, or the quality of the filtered water. The filtration media inside the system remains fully intact and continues to function as designed.
