How Does the Cell Phone Case Work?
All cell phones emit Electromagnetic Field (EMF) radiation. You might be aware of Radio Frequency (RF), or Microwave, signals that connect your cell phone to a cell tower, WiFi router and Bluetooth devices. These cell phone signals are always on, unless you manually turn them off. But did you know that cell phones also emit Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) radiation produced by the cell phone’s internal electrical components?
The only way known to science to block both forms of radiation is a physical shielded barrier.

How do I use the DefenderShield® Cell Phone Case?
There is only one way to shield the head and body from EMF radiation. You must place radiation shielding between the emission source – the cell phone – and your body. DefenderShield® Cell Phone Radiation Protection Cases are the only cases capable of providing up to 99% radiation protection from the full frequency spectrum of EMF radiation emitted by cell phones.
When you make a phone call, simply close the shielded front cover before you put the phone up to your head. By keeping the shielded front cover closed while against any part of your body, a barrier is created to protect from a broad spectrum of potentially harmful cell phone radiation emissions, without affecting signal quality.
How does the Shielding Work?
The front cover of our EMF Radiation Protection Cell Phone Case contains a complex mix of highly engineered, superior alloy metals combined in a single layer and duplicated multiple times. It is capable of blocking the full EMF radiation range up to 10 GHz, which includes both RF and ELF frequencies.
Our shielding does not, in any way, influence the transmission characteristics of a cell phone or other wireless device (i.e. block the signal or reflect radiation emissions).
We embed our shielding within the front cover of the phone case but not within the back of the case, so you can still receive RF signals. The front cover of the case should be the side placed against your head or body to block direct skin contact with EMF radiation (EMFs are most harmful within a few inches of the body). A signal can easily transmit to a relatively close cell tower from the exposed side of the phone or other device, without increasing the phone’s power level. If a cell phone is far away from a tower, the cell phone transmission level increases in order to reach the tower. Even then, the cell phone cannot transmit higher than its capable power level, and the DefenderShield case does not alter this.
Our shielding does not reflect EMF emissions. Nanotechnology included in our shielding absorbs EMF frequencies while providing a resistive path for the energy. Our shielding does not draw in radiation like a typical conductive metal, but instead forms a resistive net, that effectively catches and blocks all radiation headed in the direction of the shield.
About Alternate Technologies
There are alternate technologies that can be considered when looking to reduce cell phone radiation exposure. Why don’t we use them?
Incorporating technologies, like antennas, into a case can reduce outgoing cell phone radiation levels when close to the cell tower, but cannot totally eliminate them. This design does not reduce radiation exposure from the WiFi and Bluetooth RF because cell phones do not have the capacity to reduce their power levels whether or not an antenna is present. Cell phone signal levels and radiation exposure to the body increase the farther away you are from a cell tower. Equally as important is that the antenna does not reduce ELF emissions, which carry the same dangers as RF emissions.
Other devices like buttons and stickers are at most minimally effective, and have no scientific basis. In short, there are no other technologies capable of blocking the full spectrum of EMF emitting from your cell phone.
