Aquametix and Cerametix gravity feed filters offer exceptional-performance backed by extensive third-party lab testing (linked below.) Both filter options are proudly made in the USA and are compatible with Berkey units.

Filter Descriptions

  • Aquametix – Broadband contaminant removal including difficult to remove contaminants such as nitrates and fluorides.  Features 10 micron filtration for a faster drip rate. Recommended for: CITY WATER.
  • Cerametix –  Broadband contaminant removal including difficult to remove contaminants such as nitrates and fluorides. Features a diatomaceous earth ceramic outer shell which filters out fine sediment and microbes down to .2 microns with a slower drip rate. Washable outer shell. Recommended for: WELL/WILD/RAW or CITY WATER.
  • (Optional) Mineral Enrichment Bag – Mineral bag is placed in the bottom reservoir of your gravity feed system to increase pH and provide beneficial health enhancing minerals. Minerals contained are a blend of Zeolite, Magnesium Oxide, Calcium, and Carbon. (Please note: Our filters never remove source minerals from your water, this is an option for those who prefer further mineral enhancement.)

Filtering Capacity info can be found by scrolling down to the info section below.

Important Notes Regarding Cerametix and Aquametix Filters:

  1. Installation Instructions: Our filters are designed for installation in the top reservoir of your gravity feed system, completely replacing all existing filters. Additionally, you have the option to place an optional mineral enrichment bag in the bottom reservoir.
  2. Filter Compatibility: Please avoid mixing different filter types. Using only one type of filter in your system is recommended for optimal performance.
  3. Handle with Care: Cerametix Filters are delicate and should be handled with care. Avoid dropping, jostling, or overtightening, as these actions may result in breakage.
  4. Avoid Red Dye Tests: Refrain from conducting red dye tests on these filters, as it can significantly reduce the filter’s lifespan.
  5. Initial Usage: Both filter types may require the passage of at least 2-4 reservoirs of water through them, or possibly more, to eliminate any initial taste associated with new filters. Any lingering “new filter” taste is harmless, and the water can be safely consumed after the initial priming process is completed as directed.
  6. No Priming Required: There is no need for priming these filters before use.
  7. Activated Alumina: Please note that Aquametix and Cerametix filters do not contain activated alumina, unlike Berkey filters.
  8. Price Includes: Your purchase includes two replacement filters.

Manufactured in America.
