Self-Testing Sulfate-reducing Bacteria
Analyze your water for the presence of sulfate-reducing and hydrogen sulfide-related bacteria. This bacteria group includes Salmonella, Citrobacter, Proteus, Edwardsiella and some species of Klebsiella. This at-home kit can be a cost effective way to screen for these common bacteria and is a recommended add-on for those whose water smells of sulfur or rotten eggs.
Important: This at-home test kit should be ordered as an addition to a laboratory test package (i.e. Core Kit: Essential, Advanced, or Extended package). Results from lab testing are often very important towards making sense of self-testing kit results.
