Tools Needed

Phillips screwdriver
Scissors or tubing cutter (for clean tube cuts)
Towel or small container (to catch water from the line)
Wall screws or mounting hardware appropriate for your surface
Installation Instructions
1. Turn Off Water Supply
a. Locate the cold water shut-off valve to your fridge line and turn it off. Dispense any remaining water from your
fridge to relieve pressure.
2. Disconnect Refrigerator Water Line
a. Carefully pull the refrigerator away from the wall (ensure you have at least 5" of clearance space if mounting
behind the fridge). Disconnect the ¼" water supply line from the fridge.
3. Mount the Filter System
a. Position the filter housing behind or beside the refrigerator—or on a nearby cabinet or stud—using the built-in
bracket. (Note: Screws and mounting hardware are not included. Use appropriate hardware for your wall type
(drywall, stud, concrete, etc.).
b.Make sure there is enough clearance below the housing to allow for easy filter changes.
4. Connect the Tubing
Wrap Teflon tape around the threaded male ends of both elbow fittings.
Insert the elbow fittings into the “in” and “out” ports on the filter housing and tighten securely.
Cut your tubing to appropriate lengths.
Push one end of the tubing into the inlet fitting, and connect the other end to your incoming water supply.
Push another section of tubing into the outlet fitting, and connect it to the fridge water line.
5. Check All Connections
a. Tug gently on the tubing to ensure secure seating. Make sure all threaded connections are hand-tight plus a
quarter-turn.
6. Turn On Water & Check for Leaks
a. Slowly turn the water supply back on while watching for any drips or leaks. If needed, tighten fittings or reapply
Teflon tape.
7. Flush the Filter
a. Dispense at least 2–3 gallons of water through your fridge dispenser to flush the new filter before drinking.
8. Push Refrigerator Back
a. Once everything is secure and dry, gently slide your refrigerator back into place, making sure the tubing doesn’t
kink or get pinched.
Maintenance
Filter Replacement: Every 6–12 months, depending on usage and water quality.
To replace the filter, turn off the water supply, unscrew the housing, remove and replace the cartridge, reassemble,
and flush as above.
