💧 Girls aged 10 - 17 just won legal rights for a river ~ plus courses are 33% off ~ AND Labor Day Sales on Water Alchemy Tools

Well friends,

It's my birthday today. 🎂

And my gift to you is that everything at waterislife.academy is 33% off with code HAPPYBDAY, through tomorrow night. Every masterclass, every course, the 1-on-1 hydration consultation, the doors are as wide as I can open them to all of it. I wanted to lead with this so nobody misses the window.

Without further ado, let's dive in, starting with this weeks WINS.

🌊 Girls Aged 10 to 17 Just Won Legal Rights for a River

A group of Indigenous girls just won a river its legal rights. The oldest is 17.

The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Council unanimously passed a resolution recognizing the inherent legal rights of the Longperson, the interconnected waterway system running through their homeland.

It was brought forward by the NAIWA Daughters, a group of Indigenous girls aged 10 to 17. It's the first all-female-led rights of nature effort in the United States. The resolution grants the Longperson five inherent rights, and it has already spurred a separate tribal resolution to raise funds for removing the Ela Dam. (Mongabay)

Girls who cannot yet vote just moved a sovereign government to recognize a river as a rights-bearing being, and then went after a dam.

This is the pattern I keep pointing at. The momentum is never top-down. It's the Waccamaw Indian People affirming rights for the Yadkin-Pee Dee Watershed. It's the Colorado River Indian Tribes passing a personhood resolution. It's Ecuador's Machángara and Virginia's Rappahannock winning enforceable rights. And it's teenagers in North Carolina who decided a river deserved standing and simply went and got it for her. This is what community, what matriarchy, what water wisdom, what #waterback, what justice looks like.

🎙️ The New Podcast Season Is Live

The land design secret that ends drought: new podcast is already up.

The new season of the Water is Life Podcast launched Monday with Zach Weiss on The Revolutionary Fix for Water Scarcity: Land Design Secrets That Heal Drought. An hour and twenty-five minutes, and it's already the most-watched thing on the channel this month.

Watch it here →

Zach's work is the practical answer to almost everything I write to you about. While the Colorado River basin states argue over who cuts first, he's showing that landscapes can be designed to hold Water where she falls instead of shedding her to the sea. Drought is a design problem wearing a weather costume.

🧪 The EPA Just Released Its Final PFAS and Lithium Data

The EPA just published what's actually in America's tap Water. Go look.

The EPA has released the final UCMR 5 drinking water data for PFAS and lithium. (Water Online, Sept 4)

The Fifth Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule is the largest nationwide sampling effort of its kind, and the interim data already confirmed that 176 million people in the United States have drinking water that tested positive for PFAS. This is the completed dataset.

Your utility's results are in there. Your actual system, at the tap, by name. Look yourself up, then match your filtration to what the data says you're drinking. Most people are filtering for the contaminants they've heard of instead of the ones they have.

And remember what I taught you last month: those numbers are seasonal. A dry August concentrates whatever the river is carrying. The report is an average across two very different rivers.

⚡ The Water You Drink Should Not Be Electrolyzed

In a good hydrogen machine, your drinking Water never touches the electrodes.

In a separate-chamber electrolysis machine, the water you drink has never been electrolyzed. The hydrogen is generated in its own chamber and then dissolved into your drinking water, which means the water arriving in your glass is pH-neutral and free of the ozone and chlorine byproducts that direct electrolysis creates when it runs current straight through the water you're about to swallow.

Most machines don't work that way, and most spec sheets never say so plainly.

This is the same discernment principle as the electrode question I covered a couple of weeks ago. Ask what the machine actually does to the Water before you ask what it costs.

🔮 Veda Austin Has New Events Coming Up

My dear friend and colleague Veda Austin, whose macro-crystallography work documents Water forming consistent, repeatable symbols across thousands of independent experiments, has a full season ahead.

Live Crystallography Workshop, October 18 (NZ time). She demonstrates the complete freezing method, walks through the pitfalls beginners hit, and you leave with a written step-by-step guide, her hydroglyph PDF for recognising the symbolic patterns in Water, and the full recording.

She's also speaking at Finding Your True Shape, the online conference starting September 8th, and she's given us code CONFERENCE10 for 10% off registration. And she'll be at CPAK in Newport Beach, California, September 25 to 27, with a livestream option if you can't be there.

Frequency: The Secret of Everything, the film she features in alongside Dr. Joe Dispenza and Dr. Bruce Lipton, is screening worldwide. She's doing a live Q&A after the Adelaide screening on September 12th, and you can request a screening at your own local cinema.

Further out: her UK talks in March. Glastonbury on March 19th has sold out, and tickets remain for Kent on March 21st.

Her book, The Living Language of Water, is the closest thing we have to proof that Water has an alphabet. And I was honored to have written chapter 18, on Water and God.

🌿 In The Wake...

Girls who can't vote just won a river its rights. What's your excuse?

I keep coming back to those girls.

Ten to seventeen years old. No law degrees. No budget. No vote. And they walked into a tribal council and came out with five inherent rights recognized for a living waterway, and a dam removal fund started.

Again and again lately, I see that the people making the biggest difference in this world, fighting injustice and creating alternative systems based on egalitarianism and harmony, are women and girls. I love to see it. Ladies, it's our time.

But of course any human made of water can make a difference for water. Standing begins with somebody willing to speak on Water's behalf, and the only qualification is deciding to.

I'm a year older today, and what I want for this year is more of that. More people moving with decisive action instead of scrolling with passive consumption. More rivers with somebody in their corner.

Thank you for being here, for sharing these, for caring about the liquid source of life. It's the best birthday gift I could ask for.

Be well and be water my friend, 💦

P.S. We're always here to answer your water-related queries or to assist you in exploring our range of products and courses. Feel free to reach out anytime!
