We finally have an inexpensive filter we can recommend... Having a SMALL and mighty filter is really great.

These filters can be installed in the bathroom as well on the cold water line for clean water when you brush your teeth and wash your face and hands. It is not recommended to use with your main kitchen faucet, due to the need to wash dishes and such and the tubing for your main kitchen faucet is usually 3/8″ or 1/2″ and this is only 1/4″ on both ends. It works best in conjunction with a drinking water faucet. In the bathroom, you would need to get the correct fittings to make it adapt to the faucet fittings. This works out in the bathroom sink setting since you are not running the water as much as in a kitchen, usually.
