Dispense any remaining water from your\u003cbr\u003efridge to relieve pressure.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e2. Disconnect Refrigerator Water Line\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003ea. Carefully pull the refrigerator away from the wall (ensure you have at least 5\" of clearance space if mounting\u003cbr\u003ebehind the fridge). Disconnect the ¼\" water supply line from the fridge.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e3. Mount the Filter System\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003ea. Position the filter housing behind or beside the refrigerator—or on a nearby cabinet or stud—using the built-in\u003cbr\u003ebracket. (Note: Screws and mounting hardware are not included. Use appropriate hardware for your wall type\u003cbr\u003e(drywall, stud, concrete, etc.).\u003cbr\u003eb.Make sure there is enough clearance below the housing to allow for easy filter changes.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e4. Connect the Tubing\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWrap Teflon tape around the threaded male ends of both elbow fittings.\u003cbr\u003eInsert the elbow fittings into the “in” and “out” ports on the filter housing and tighten securely.\u003cbr\u003eCut your tubing to appropriate lengths.\u003cbr\u003ePush one end of the tubing into the inlet fitting, and connect the other end to your incoming water supply.\u003cbr\u003ePush another section of tubing into the outlet fitting, and connect it to the fridge water line.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e5. Check All Connections\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003ea. Tug gently on the tubing to ensure secure seating. Make sure all threaded connections are hand-tight plus a\u003cbr\u003equarter-turn.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e6. Turn On Water \u0026amp; Check for Leaks\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003ea. Slowly turn the water supply back on while watching for any drips or leaks. If needed, tighten fittings or reapply\u003cbr\u003eTeflon tape.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e7. Flush the Filter\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003ea. Dispense at least 2–3 gallons of water through your fridge dispenser to flush the new filter before drinking.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e8. Push Refrigerator Back\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003ea.
